Well folks, I turn 60 this year, but still describe myself as the oldest teenager I know.

I love life, find the silver lining in everything, love learning new things and live to solve problems.

I’ve had 4 jobs in my 40-year career in Electronics & Computing.

After 22 years with a small company that started in a garage and then was taken over several times by larger companies, there has been a restructure and I find myself starting a new chapter in my life and looking for the next challenge.

I’m looking for an opportunity where I can use my skills and experience to help people and my goal is to constantly exceed people’s expectations.

I’ve been responsible for Quality Management for 25 years, but it was never a passion, however the basic concepts of having structure, analysing what happens and looking to continually improve, are principles I’ve embraced.

I’ve also been responsible for all aspects of the company’s IT and have been involved with computers since their beginning, programming on punch cards fed into mainframes, then personal computers, networking, virtualisation and now working with a diverse range of cloud connected devices where what can be done is limited only by our imaginations.

I have a firm grasp of concepts and an ability to find the specific details as and when I need them. I believe that is something is hard, then there is probably an easier way and I strive to find it, often creating the tools to do what is needed.

I love sharing what I know and look forward to meeting and working together with whoever will take advantage of what I have to offer next.
